Hello, I'm Karla Brown. I've lived in Kansas City for over 20 years, where I've recently purchased and renovated a loft in the River Market. I earned my degree in Interior Design in 2007 and have spent much of my career in retail buying and procurement. I've worked with a variety of vendors across the industry, even traveling to China to work with these vendors and factories directly. In 2020, I was able to fully combine my Interior Design and Buying knowledge by taking on an exciting position with an East Coast based Developer where I was head of Interior Design and Procurement.​

​​​Over the past few years I have utilized my skills to do space planning; furniture, accessories, art and drapery selections; procurement; and installation on several projects. My portfolio includes new build Senior Living and Active Adult Communities, and Multi-Family Communities, including Common Area spaces, Clubhouses, Exterior Spaces, and Model Units. I have also worked on numerous Capital Expenditure projects for existing properties.
